As the holidays approach (along with the annual courier whirlwind), we’re making a few seasonal adjustments to ensure your yeast arrives fresh, fast, and ready for your next brew day.
Just like in previous years, these changes help prevent weekend delays, keep your cultures in peak condition, and allow our team to take some well deserved time off throughout December and the holiday season.
No Thursday/Friday Shipping in December
To protect your yeast from long weekend layovers, we will only be shipping Monday through Wednesday in December.
Got a brew day planned? Order early so we can get your culture prepped and shipped with perfect timing.

NOTE: If you’re near Guelph, you can still pick up orders at 8 Smith Ave on days we’re not shipping. Just select “Local Pick-Up @ 8 Smith Ave, Guelph, ON” at checkout.
Planning Ahead for December & January
December always moves fast, and January brews can sneak up even faster. If you’ve got production lined up, we highly recommend getting your orders in early to ensure smooth scheduling and fast delivery.
Remember: We invoice when we ship, so you won’t be impacting cash flow by planning ahead, either!
Need a custom or large propagation? Let us know as early as possible for orders anticipated before January 20th — our team is here to help coordinate timing and availability.
